#41… Interviews, Quality vs. Quantity and Happy Potter All Together in One Place…

Thursday and Friday were hard days for my this week and I got behind so I thought about doing a little switcheroo… but instead I buckled down and got it done… Not early but that’s okay! I’m linking up with Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer and her Sunday Post meme to spread the love.

Tips for Interviewing these Gods I name Authors

From Sophie @ Beware of the Reader. I didn’t realize that Sophie was such a goddess of the author interview! She explains how she contacts them and how she builds her interviews if you want to dabble in the interview business! I read a couple of them and she really is a master to learn from…

The Literary Salon || Quality VS Quantity

From Camilla @ The Reader in the Attic. This was a fascinating discussion! This Italian blogger always seems to have some thoughtful ideas about the book community… this time she tackles giving authors a break because of their limited time to write as well as all the stereotypes flooding the market… Go give it a think!

Favorite Harry Potter Book Covers

From Zezee @ Zezee with Books. I’m a little embarrassed to say that I didn’t know there were all these Harry Potter book covers! I only knew about the UK version and the Mary Grandpré US version. I found myself caught between LOVING Kazu Kibuishi and Jonny Duddle’s covers. If you’ve missed these too then you’ve got to give them a look see…

YAY! I got my wrap up for January posted yesterday! I was agonizing over it because I was thinking changes but then I looked at December’s wrap up with the video and realized it was a pretty slimmed down format!

Do you enjoy author interviews?

I do but I’m kind of leery about interviewing them myself as I’m never sure what to ask. I’d much rather get a guest post and pick their brain about writing… What questions DO YOU love to ask authors if you had the chance to interview them?! Please impart you wisdom!

  1. Another great list of awesome links, Dani! I didn’t know Sophie was such a wonderful interviewer either but I adore her posts so this one was no exception 😊
I like interviews in general, especially if they’re about someone or whose work I’m interested in. It’s nice to discover new faces as well, though!

  2. I do like reading author interviews, but I enjoy them more when I have a clue about who the author is. I’ve also found that I like the couple of author interviews that The Anime Man has filmed. They’re in Japanese, but he types the subtitles so English-speaking viewers understand what’s going on.

  3. You’re too much sweet ❤ Thank you so much for sharing it! It's interestin that you saw that post in this way, but I think that the kind of discussion might be seen for multiple pov.
The post about the interviews should be useful! I never did one and I don't plan to that really soon but I'm going to read what it say
